The Bargeman's Rest at Newport

This is a super pub in Newport on the banks of the river. It's a great place to sit on a nice day. We like to sit on the terrace to watch the boats.

Inside is big and nice and clean and it is decorated with lots of boating things.

Meals here are quite good and not too expensive but the servings are a bit too big. I couldn't eat all mine!

I haven't got a picture but will try to take one next time I visit.
