This award winning restaurant sits high above the harbour in Ventnor Bay enjoying uninterrupted views over The English Channel.
The restaurant has gone from strength to strength since Robert Thompson became Patron of The Hambrough and sister Pond Cafe at Bonchurch in 2008. Robert gained his first Michelin star at the tender age of 23 and has now, 2009, just re-gained the Island a Michelin Star! Fantastic news! Well done Robert and all the team.

The Pond Cafe

Situated opposite the pond in the picturesque village of Bonchurch, this small restaurant offers quality food with all meals cooked to order from fresh. Recommended in the Good Food Guide 2005. This is one of the more popular Isle of wight restaurants and booking is essential.

The Loaves and Fishes

This quaint restaurant is located in one of the original six cottages in the village of Godshill where Queen Victoria used to partake of afternoon tea during her trips by horse and carriage from Osborne House. A Grade II Listed building, the restaurant is steeped in history and is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a farmer!

Open: Sumer (April - October) 7 days a week for morning coffee, lunch from 12:00 and dinner from 18:00
Winter: Weds to Sat, lunch from 12:00 and dinner from 18:00

The Leconfield

The Seascape Restaurant within The Leconfield Hotel is open to non-residents over the age of 16 years. Here you can enjoy food prepared to order using island produce, where possible. The restaurant is superbly situated within a magnificent manor house and it enjoys wonderful views over the sea.
