Our favourite Isle of Wight pubs!
This section on Isle of Wight pubs is the result of painstaking, ongoing research to find and recommend the very best establishments on the Isle of Wight. (It's a dreadful job, but someone's got to do it!)
We will continue to visit licensed premises on a regular basis - and will obviously be adding to the following pages as and when we can.
The following map is NOT interactive (I'm a novice don't forget!): it simply shows the location of each chosen establishment.

We began by mentally dividing the island into four sections - North, South, East and West then we slotted each place visited into one or other section depending on its whereabouts. Hopefully this will help you find a decent 'watering hole' within reasonable distance of wherever you are staying.
For further information about each pub, including opening hours, map references and suitability for children etc, simply click on the appropriate BLUE link below. But be warned! Many of the more popular establishments get very crowded at times - and not all take bookings.
