Isle of Wight caravan parks
These Isle of Wight caravan parks seem to offer everything a family could possibly want!
Although we've not actually stayed at any of them (we're island residents, you see), we have visited each site and can report on what we saw. And, of course, we know all the best spots on the island.
We'll continue our visits on a regular basis and will add to this page as and when we can. Meanwhile, these sites are definitely worthy of your consideration!

We've allocated a separate page for some of our chosen holiday parks so that we can say a bit more about each one and, where possible, can add more of our photos.
In other cases, we provide a direct link to the appropriate website.
So, let's get cracking!
If direct access to a sandy beach sounds good, you will like
Sandhills Holiday Park
which is situated in Whitecliff Bay, just north of Culver Down.

Alternatively, if boating and Cowes Week is your scene, you may prefer to consider
Waverley Park Holiday Centre
at East Cowes where you'll be right in the thick of all the action. This site is so close to the Red Funnel terminal you don't even need a car to get there!

On the other hand, if you fancy a well equipped caravan in a sheltered, walled orchard in the village of Wroxall, with easy access by road to Ventnor, Sandown and Shanklin, then you'll love
Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park.
We stayed at Appuldurcombe Gardens years ago when our children were small - and we all loved it, especially the swimming pool and adjacent club house. It has changed hands since then, of course, but as Isle of Wight caravan parks go, it is still very well managed and the grounds and facilities are very well kept.
Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park is situated in a beautiful valley, right next to
Appuldurcombe House,

a fabulous example of 18th century English baroque architecture, and the
Isle of Wight Owl and Falconry Centre,
both well worth a visit!
We look forward to adding to this section soon, so please do visit us again!
