Planning a short break or holiday in the Isle of Wight?
Fantastic! We look forward to seeing you!
Meanwhile, perhaps we can help? After all, if you've never been to the Isle of Wight, UK, choosing where to go and what to do can be a bit daunting, can't it? North, South, East or West - which area will be most suitable? Ryde or Ventnor? Yarmouth or Sandown?
How shall we get there? Which caravan park would be best? Which campsite? Which holiday cottage? Which hotel?
So much to consider, so many glossy adverts ....... Would it help if you had some 'insider knowledge' from friendly, unbiassed, Isle of Wight residents? I do hope so, because that's what this website is all about - passing on our observations and first hand experiences to help you plan your ideal short break or holiday.
Our credentials? Well, we moved to the island several years ago - so we know it quite well. We've sailed all round the coastline, we've walked all the beaches, we've explored the downlands, towns and villages, and we've thoroughly enjoyed 'researching' island restaurants and pubs (my husband's favourite occupation!). We've also investigated holiday accommodation of all sorts, plus tourist attractions for all age groups. So, all in all, you could say we're reasonably well qualified to pass on our personal recommendations! We'll be adding to this website on a regular basis, so if there's something you would like to know about that we've not yet covered, just drop us a line on the 'contact us' page and we'll get right back to you!

See you soon!
The magical Isle of Wight Despite being only three miles from the busy mainland, the Isle of Wight is, by contrast, a haven of peace. Life here runs at 33 rpm, not 78 (or rather it runs on dial-up, not 8G broadband!) .....
