If you're wondering who writes all this stuff about the Isle of Wight and why, you've come to the right place!

This is me. My name is Linda.

I live on the Isle of Wight with my husband, Alan. We have both officially 'retired', but I must confess I don't like retirement. I'm one of those people who needs a reason to get out of bed in the morning. I also love a challenge and I'm always on the look out for any means of making extra money. Especially these days. So when I came across SBI I was over the moon!

SBI? It's a Canadian company called Site Build It. I found them purely by chance whilst browsing the internet one day. SBI were promising to help me build a website. Not just any old website, mind you, but one that works, i.e. one that brings in the money. Anyone can do it they say. It doesn't matter if you can't write HTML or use fancy software, all necessary tools are provided! All you need is determination to succeed and passion!

I decided to investigate further. One of the ideas put forward by SBI was that I could become an 'infopreneur', i.e. I could create a website by writing about things I know and love. This proposal struck a chord with me. After all, I'm no techy, but I do like writing, I like photography and I love the Isle of Wight. Put these three together and perhaps, with SBI help, I could produce something worthwhile.

And so it came about. My very own website. And I'm thoroughly enjoying myself doing it. It's addictive, really! SBI takes care of all the technical bits, so all I do is write and upload my own photos using the tools they provide. It's a doddle.

It's no get-rich-quick scheme, mind you. I've put hours and hours into this site already. But I'm doing something I enjoy, and I'm writing about something I love, so that's a pretty good way to earn money, I think. And all along the way SBI have helped me at every step.

I've tried to follow the SBI instructions to the letter and it has certainly paid off. The number of visitors to my site has grown steadily every month, and my 'income' has grown steadily as a result. What income did you say? Well, at the moment I'm earning income from the various Google Ads you see scattered around the site. If anyone clicks on these, I earn money. I also have an online shop which I plan to improve. And who knows what the future may bring? There are so many options open to me now I've got my own site.

There are thousands of people around the world who, like me, have built a successful online business with SBI. And I've befriended and actively linked with some of them on my Holiday Links page. All of us, for one reason or another, need extra income. And we've all managed it with SBI.
