Caravan Parks in the Isle of Wight:
Sandhills Holiday Park

Of all the caravan parks in the Isle of Wight, we think Sandhills is in one of the very best locations.

Nestling at the foot of Culver Down, Sandhills Holiday Park overlooks and has direct access to Whitecliff Bay which is, in our opinion, one of the very best beaches on the Isle of Wight. This factor alone makes Sandhills highly desirable as a holiday location, of course!

There are, in fact, two holiday parks in Whitecliff Bay: Sandhills in the south, and Whitecliff Bay Holiday Centre in the North. The main difference between the two lies in the accommodation offered. At Sandhills, static caravans are the main units of accommodation, whereas at Whitecliff Bay there are mainly holiday chalets.

Many of the caravans at Sandhills are privately owned (which speaks volumes about the site!) and there are often vans for sale.

And, as you can see from our picture, they are all of good size and well maintained, many with private balcony.

All 2 and 3 bed letting caravans are spacious and well equipped with the following facilities:

• Central heating and double glazing
• Shower room, toilet and hand basin
• Bed linen and duvets
• Colour television and DVD player
• Refrigerator and microwave
• Kettle and toaster

On site facilities at Sandhills include:

• A self-service shop with off licence
• Children's play area
• Launderette
• Post box
• Public telephone
• Car parking alongside caravans

There is no swimming pool here, but we think direct access to Whitecliff Bay more than makes up for that!

In fact, Sandhills is one of the very few caravan parks in the Isle of Wight with direct access onto a sandy beach. This makes it rather special. And on the sandy beach you'll even find a kiosk serving refreshments. What more could you ask for?
